[SQUOZE] - what's that?

Some like to think it's the past tense of squeeze, but I'm sure the dictionary says otherwise...

Nonetheless I have always liked the word, and set up the web domain many years ago in anticipation of using it for something special.

And [SQUOZE] is special!

It's a new venture for me, moving along from my background in theatre production and marketing. Squoze is about giving emerging singer/songwriters a platform to promote their music to new audiences.

For the launch event I'm delighted to have secured the University of Nottingham's Lakeside Arts Centre. Not only becasue it is my old University but as an established yet intimate venue it is the ideal space in which to feature artists David Gibb and Lucy Ward. Elsewhere on the site you'll find information about them (more), but I want to say here that they have enormous talent and I'm thrilled to be working with them.

But don't take my word for it - come along to Lakeside on the 17th April and see for yourself!
